Empowering Excellence, Rewarding Merit Symbiosis International (Deemed University), through the Symbiosis Society Foundation, offers prestigious Scholarships and Awards to deserving students, celebrating academic excellence and inspiring future leaders.

SSIS proudly awards Merit Scholarships in accordance with Symbiosis International (Deemed University) policy, recognizing and celebrating academic brilliance within our M.A. (International Studies) program.

Merit Scholarship for Semester Toppers (Post Graduate Programme)

Applicability and Commencement

This scholarship is applicable to:
• All PG degree programme following the semester pattern.

Awarded To

• Four semester toppers in the order of merit from every batch of PG degree programme under SIU.

Nature of the Scholarship

The first four toppers in the order of merit of every batch in every semester will be awarded the Merit Scholarship.

The scholarship recipients are granted concession in Academic Fees of the semester, applicable to all full-time Post Graduate degree programmes of all the Constituents of SIU, as follows:

• 1st Topper: 20% concession in academic fees
• 2nd Topper: 15% concession in academic fees
• 3rd Topper: 10% concession in academic fees
• 4th Topper: 5% concession in academic fees

The scholarship amount will not be paid directly to the students. The University will transfer the scholarship amount directly to the Constituent Institute for adjustment against the academic fees of the following semester.

In case the student is a topper in the last semester of the programme, the scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the student’s bank account as per the available records.
