The Department of Symbiosis School of International Studies celebrated the Ganesh Utsav on the 20th of September. The event program began at 12.00 p.m. and was graced by the Director of the institute, Professor Shivali Lawale, the faculty, and non-teaching staff members. The event commenced with the lightning of the lamp by our esteemed Director and faculty members. Following this, the event commenced with a devotional Ganesh Vandana, and a classical dance performance by the junior batch. Moreover, an enlightening speech was delivered by a student on the historical origin and cultural significance of Ganesh Chathurthi. Subsequently, the junior batch also put up a powerful group performance and engaged the audience by conducting fun games. The event concluded with a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to the Director of the institute as well as the Symbiosis International University for granting the opportunity to conduct the event. Lastly, the program ended on a happy note with the distribution of Modak, a traditional sweet to everyone present
